This year, my Kindergarten Boy and I are reading through some apple books, taste testing, and he will narrate the Life Cycle of an Apple to me using this apple booklet. Last year, we went to the apple orchard and made fresh, homemade cider, learned all about apples, and toured the orchard grounds. Some years we have worked on big unit studies (fun!), and other years we just read lots of apple books and do taste-testing. What is fall without eating fresh apples while reading apple books?! While my children are in preschool and elementary school, we study apples each and every year.
